Here is another scary thought brought by Bruce Schneier. Just knowing in which block you live and work is likely to identify you uniquely. I have just browed the paper, and it looks very interesting.
The scary part is that I am about to start using a new electric bike and a GPS-eneabled phone. This means that I will be taking a rather atypical route from home to work, which is quite likely to make me very easy to identify uniquely.
When I’ll be close enough to work, my phone will be able to remind me of the day’s important tasks, or maybe even to tell my colleagues at what time our first meeting can start. Interesting, but spooky.
